Michelle Krieger is the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Lake Shore Central School District.  She has been an educator for over 23 years, with previous experience as a Special Educator, Technology Integration Specialist, and Technology Coordinator.  Michelle has been a presenter at various New York State conferences including the RICONE Data Privacy and Security Statewide Conference in Albany, the New York State School Board Association Conference in New York City, and the New York State Association for Computers and Technologies in Education Conference, in Rochester. She is the founder of  the WNY DPO Cooperative, where her mission is to enable DPOs to navigate the complex landscape of data protection and privacy, ensuring that organizations remain compliant with regulations and data breaches are minimized.
